Me
But enough about me... how about we talk about me?

I get a lot of interesting email from a lot of interesting people in a lot of interesting places, asking for help with my software, or offering suggestions for improvements or for other products. Every now and again we get into long email threads about the state of the iPhone application market and other related topics, and often people want to know a little bit about me.
So here’s the quick bio....
I have had more than one career. I earned my B.S., M.S., and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering, with concentrations in solid state physics and computer engineering, in the 1990’s. I worked for ten years in Silicon Valley for a startup, for Sun Microsystems, and, for nearly 9 years, at AMD, where I was a key designer on “K8” (aka: opteron and athlon 64).
Then, about 6 years ago, I decided to go to law school. For the past two years I’ve worked as an intellectual property attorney, and I am a registered patent attorney as well.
So there you have it.
