Take a trip back through the sands of time, and join the Pharoahs for a quick hand or two of the classic Pyramid Solitaire. Can you clear all of the cards and earn back more points than you spend on the hand?
Rules
The game is played with a standard 52-card deck, without jokers. The deck is dealt face up into a pyramid formation, where cards toward the bottom overlap cards toward the top. This is called the tableau.
The goal is to remove cards or pairs of cards whose total value is equal to 13. Aces are worth 1, Jacks are worth 11, Queens are worth 12, and Kings are worth 13. Tap a King, or tap a pair of cards whose values sum to 13, and they will disappear. The goal is to eliminate all of the cards in the tableau. You can only tap cards that are not partially covered by other cards.
When you run out of moves, tap the deck to deal a new card onto the “waste.” At any given time, up to two cards may be face-up and playable in the waste. You can play combinations of the waste and the tableau.
